    Get a free home charger for your electrified Kia in partnership with Energia.


We have partnered with Energia to provide a Free Home Charger with installation for your electric or plug-in hybrid Kia. The process is simple, once you become an Energia customer you will have your solar compatible smart charger installed and you can avail of various night rate electricity plans to ensure cost effective home charging that works with your schedule. Full details of this partnership are outlined below.

    You purchase your new EV or PHEV.

     

     

  • 2.

     

    The selling Kia dealer submits details to Energia on your behalf. 

  • 3.

     

    Energia will contact you to sign up or renew your supply contract.

  • 4.

     

    You will be contacted by Energia's install team 2 days after signing up.

  • 5.

     

    A video survey of your property is arranged.

  • 6.

     

    Energia will send you the payment link to choose the appropriate charger (€300 up-front cost to be repaid by SEAI).

  • 7.

     

    You select the charger of your choice.

  • 8.

     

    The installers will contact you to arrange the fitting of the charge point.

  • 9.

     

    Charger installation is completed on the property.

    ❯ One charger installation is applicable per claimant.

    ❯ The offer is open to all retail customers who purchase a new 251 XCeed PHEV, Niro PHEV, Sportage PHEV, Sorento PHEV, Niro EV, EV3, EV6 or EV9 and switch their domestic electricity supply to Energia. The vehicle must be sourced and registered through the Kia Dealer Network in the Republic of Ireland.

    ❯ The offer is redeemable through your local Kia Dealer on registration of your new 251 XCeed PHEV, Niro PHEV, Sportage PHEV, Sorento PHEV, Niro EV, EV3, EV6 or EV9.

    ❯ Kia and Energia reserve the right to withdraw the Offer, either generally or in respect of any particular customer, at any time and to vary or amend any element of the Offer at any time without further notice.

    ❯ Customers switching their electricity supply to Energia may be required to pay an early termination fee from their current electricity supplier.
