Why does my car need a Vehicle Health Check?

Winter weather and winter driving can have a serious effect on many parts of your car. After several months of lower temperatures and tougher driving conditions, there may be wear and tear or damage you are unaware of, and which needs attention sooner rather than later.

Won’t my winter tyres be fine for summer driving too?

If you have winter tyres fitted, now’s the time to change to summer tyres engineered for the conditions: for greater safety, better performance and longer tyre life. If you use all-season tyres, winter could have taken its toll on the tread or sidewalls. Better to check now than regret it later.

I hardly used my air conditioning in winter. Why does it need checking?

Imagine it’s the first hot day of summer. You turn your air conditioning on full and wait for the pleasantly cool air, but all you get is more hot air, or a foul smell. Bacteria and other problems can build-up over winter, whether or not you have been using the system.
